Obituary of Len Foran

Foran, Leonard Francis "Len" On Saturday November 21st 2020, after a strong and courageous fight, Len lost his battle against cancer. Len showed his true strength and character by remaining positive and selfless throughout this battle. Len had just celebrated his 63rd birthday with his family. Proud and loving father of Jeremy Foran and his fiancee Margaret Purdy. Beloved son of Barbara Roberts and the late Gord Foran. Dear brother of Ken (Gayle), Geoff (Dawn), Blaine (Nancy), and Scott (Lorna). Dear uncle of Chris, Dean, Jessica and Jordan. Dear step-brother of Sharon Smith, Gordon Smith, and Heather Donohue. Len will be fondly remembered in the golfing community as an Ontario Amateur Champion and true competitor. Len continually passed on his love of the game through teaching and mentorship with him most recently winning the 2020 Best of London Golf Award for top instructor. Len was an all-around “great guy” and for those who were lucky enough to meet Len, he will remain in their hearts and memories forever. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, November 25th from 2-2:30, 2:45-3:15, 3:30-4:00, 4:15-4:45, 6:30-7:00, 7:15-7:45 and 8-8:30. Due to COVID-19 restrictions as per the Bereavement Authority of Ontario a limited number of people are able to attend each session and therefore, it is required that each person RSVP their attendance. Please email donohue@donohuefuneralhome.ca stating your time preference and phone number. A private family service will be held with interment Woodland Cemetery.
