Dee and Family,
Please accept my condolences on the sudden loss of Len, I first met him when we were team members on the Catholic Teachers' slow pitch team several years ago. Hockey of course, was his first love as a sport, but he displayed considerable talent on the ball field with his strong arm and powerful bat. He played the game for fun with the joy of a kid, About twenty years ago my mother-in-law underwent knee replacement surgery. During her rehab she was fortunate enough to have Len as her physiotherapist. He treated her with great kindness and helped her greatly to get back on her feet again. She was forever grateful for his gentle manner and professionalism. The last time a met Len was a couple of years ago while we were both shopping in the Byron Metro.. We chatted for a few brief moments then went on our way, He was the same fun loving kidlike person I had known years before. He never lost that trademark smile. May he rest in peace and may the love he has bequeathed to his family help sustain you in your grief.
