My mother died at the McCormick after 4 years living at that location. Shehan & I were so glad to be there for her - to have known her and celebrated many birthdays, Christmases and other festive seasons with her. She was a gem of a mother. She took good care of our father and family till the latter years of her life when dementia set in. When she left the family home at 1110 Prince George Rd. - it seemed like a ghost town.
The heart of a mother is the heart of the family and we will always cherish the memories we have of her.
Hats off to the wonderful people who cared for her through the years at the McCormick. I really feel they did a genuinely good job of caring for mother's emotional, spiritual and bodily needs.
It was her time to go - as it was with dad way back in 2017. The good God knows when the fruit is ripe and so with heavy hearts we say goodbye to the lady from Pepper Pike, Ohio we all called mom.
