Dear Bill
I've attempted to write this several times, and just couldn't. I know your in a beautiful safe place now, probably pulling pranks. Such an honour and privilege to have had you and your family as neighbours.
I knew from the first meeting that I'd have to be on my toes with you.
The many times you talked on the front porch with Laurie Young and I. Funny, interesting, and a wealth of knowledge. Also trickster was written all over your face.
I got the great idea to hide your front porch chair. I waited till you folks got home from Tims then headed over. I couldn't wait for you to mention your missing furniture. Not a peep out of you, and I began to worry. I thought maybe you'd reported it stolen to the police.
I finally confessed, only to discover you knew all along. The many, many times you and Margaret went to the store for me when I was laid up from surgery. You and Margaret taking me to appointments, also mom got taken to an appointment. You folks never said no once.
I admired you, your knowledge, and the best neighbours we've ever had. Thank you Bill for the wonderfull hand of friendship you and. Margaret extended to us. I will keep in close contact with Margaret and the boys . I miss my late night smoking buddy. Our last conversation late that night was a tribute to your family, and pride you had in them.
Thank you for being our neighbour, friend, and fellow prankster
You were the best, and every time I go outback to smoke I look over the fence.
You had my deepest respect, and adoration.
We were blessed to have your family liive next door.
You are now resting peacefully, you are missed, and I'm humbled to have called you friend.
Good bye for now my friend, until me meet again.
Miss you
Judith Bia
