Obituary of John Thomas White

WHITE John Thomas White, age 71, died at LHSC University Hospital on Thursday October 2nd, 2008. Loving husband of Marilyn White (McAndrews) and father of Sharon Wallace and her husband Clark, and granddaughter Amber. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary (Harrigan) White, his sisters Marlene, Mary Lou (Kotchie), Patricia Bliss, Joan Popelas, his brother Edwin, brothers in law Donald McAndrews, William Bliss, mother and father in law Jean and Gerald McAndrews. Survived by his sisters Sister Mary Carmel White, Elaine (White) Culleton, his brothers Fr. Frank White, Pat and Joan (Crunican) White, Jim and Rita (Bernardo) White, his brothers in law John Popelas, Derek Kotchie and Gerry McAndrews. Also many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Jack was a very friendly person. He loved meeting people and talking with them. He was an avid supporter of all sports. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours Church, 46 Cathcart Street, on Tuesday morning October 7, 2008 at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Donations to the Marian Villa Foundation or to L.H.S.C. - University Hospital would be appreciated.
