Obituary of Ian Angus Edward MacDonald

MacDonald (Ian) Angus Edward MacDonald, peacefully passed away at University Hospital in London, Ontario on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Rose Mary, son of Frances and the late Angus. Cherished father of Jennifer and Edward and his wife Deborah. Proud grandfather to Angus and Evan. Dear brother of Dawn Deme and her husband Steven, Karen Laughlin and her husband Terrence, Margaret Jones and her husband Russell and Sandra Rencz and her husband Andrew. Born in 1945 in Kingston Ontario, Ian began his life with a unique understanding of people. He worked in Human Services and completed a degree in Social Work from King's University College in 1979. He spent many years devoted to his family and a keen interest in Sports, Politics and Social History. His spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday evening, June 29 from 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Avenue, on Monday morning, June 30th at 11 am. Inurnment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery.
