Obituary of Gertrud Scheibel

Scheibel At Chateau Gardens Nursing Home on Friday, January 16, 2009 Gertrud Scheibel RN. Best friend of Nancy McAlpine and her husband Norman. Aunt Trudy of Barbara (Randy) Sale, Janet McAlpine and Barbara and George Reichenbacker. Dear friend of Pat and Chad Davies, and adopted grandmother to Alicia , Kendel, Gavin and Fraser Davies. Also survived by relatives in Germany. Gertrud graduated with her Masters in Nursing from U.W.O. and taught in Statford, at Fanshawe College and St. Joseph's Hospital. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 o'clock with prayers at 2 o'clock and continuing at Holy Family Church, 777 Valetta Street, on Monday morning from 9:30 until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 o'clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Participation House or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
