I first met Fred 50 years ago as a high school student on my summer job, landscaping the grounds around his tractor dealership on a very hot day. Fred brought me a water and insisted I eat my lunch in the air conditioning in his showroom. In my career, I have had the honor of working with Fred on many real estate transactions. Fred always dealt in a forthright manner. Fred Smith was a good man and a good friend. God bless. Kevin MacDougall.
